Jessica Hong

"With any show or any project that I hope to be a part of, is just demonstrating that we are a part of a broader interconnected social and cultural fabric."

Jessica Hong, the Toledo Museum of Art’s Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, has led several exhibitions, gallery refreshes, and art acquisitions that demonstrate the Museum’s commitment to expanding the narrative of art history. In our conversation with Jessica, we focus on her experience curating the “Living Legacies: Art of the African American South” exhibition, which featured a diverse range of recent acquisitions from the Souls Grown Deep Foundation.
